Wolves of Sutor is a classic blues/rock quartet of experienced musicians creating a powerhouse group dedicated to reviving music from the 1960s and 1970s – the decades of innocence and creativity.
The set opens with classic blues standards from the ‘Kings of Blues’ and others and moves to upbeat and accessible rock adaptations from the likes of Nazareth, Free and The Who, amongst others. After a short interval of unplugged acoustic tracks, the set concludes with a selection of powerful, complex and compelling sounds from the Led Zeppelin archive.

What inspired the name Wolves of Sutor?
The name Wolves of Sutor is inspired by the idea of a loyal pack, symbolizing unity and strength in our music, while ‘Sutor’ is the name of each of a pair of mythical sentinels (giant shoemakers) at the mouth of the Cromarty Firth.
What genres do you play?
We primarily play blues and rock music, blending classic influences with our unique sound. Our goal is to revive lesser-known tracks while creating original music that resonates with our audience.
